Annie Deutz is originally from Marshall, MN where she began her dance training at a local studio.  She continued her passion for dance at The University of Arizona’s School of Dance where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.  While studying at the U of A, Annie performed works by Susan Quinn, Sam Watson, Michael Williams, Douglas Nielsen, Melissa Lowe, and Amy Ernst.  In June of 2009, Annie was invited to perform at the Kiel Week Festival in Kiel, Germany. Since moving to Chicago, Annie has performed with Inaside Chicago Dance and in the Dance Chicago Festival. In addition to dancing, Annie is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. This is Annie’s second season with Thodos Dance Chicago as a Dancer Apprentice.
