Chelsea de Vera is originally from Los Angeles, CA where she studied at California Dance Theatre and attended the summer programs of American Ballet Theatre and Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet. Chelsea graduated Cum Laude from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance with a concentration in Jazz. During her time at Point Park University she had the opportunity to perform works by Martha Graham, Melissa Barak, Judith Leifer-Bentz, and Doug Bentz. This is her first season with Thodos Dance Chicago as a work/study intern.
