Emma Peterson

Dancer/Work Study Intern

 

Emma Peterson, originally from Milwaukee, WI, began her dance training in contemporary styles at the age of sixteen at City Ballet Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From there, she trained in ballet at the Milwaukee Ballet School until her senior year of high school. Emma recently graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts in dance and a minor in public relations and advertising. While at Point Park she danced in works choreographed by Alison Seidenstricker, Francesca Harper, Kiesha Lalama-White, Melissa Barak, Nicholas Petrov, and Patrick R. Frantz.  Emma also had the opportunity to dance in Burgos, Spain with the New York International Dance program, and performed in works by Kazuko Hirabayashi, Arantxa Sagardoy, and José Limón. Emma is in her first season as a work study intern with  Thodos Dance Chicago.
