Natalie Tursi began dancing in her hometown of Whitestone, NY, and continued her dance training at Steps on Broadway, as a member of the Work/Study program. She went on to study dance in college, graduating cum laude from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. While on scholarship at Hofstra, she had the pleasure of studying and working with Robin Becker, Chris Elam, Larry Keigwin, Amy Marshall, and Karla Wolfangle. Natalie also had the opportunity to perform at The Paul Taylor Summer Intensive, Dance Theatre Workshop, Dancers Responding to Aids and at American College Dance Festival. Upon graduating, she moved to Chicago to accept a position with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago's Giordano II. Natalie is currently on faculty at several dance studios in the Chicago area where she enjoys teaching adults and children of all ages and was selected by Randy Duncan to dance in the finale for Dance for Life 2009. Natalie is in her second season with Thodos Dance Chicago. |
