We are pleased to be a part of one of Chicago’s premiere social networks – Chicago Sport and Social Club. Our professional dancers offer energetic and fun dance fitness classes throughout the year. Sessions run 8 weeks. All classes are held at the beautiful Drucker Center of the Menomonee Club at 1535 N. Dayton.

Tuesdays (beginning September 30)

Hip Hop Fitness (with Jeremy Blair) Join Thodos Dance Chicago professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer Jeremy Blair as he works with you on some of the latest and greatest hip hop moves as a fabulous toning and cardio workout. No experience required! This class is meant for those who want to have fun and who want to get in shape! Learn, repeat and add on to cool combinations of the latest moves as you jam to some of the best and latest beats in music. In eight weeks, you'll be more fit and when you hit the town, you'll have the latest and greatest moves on the dance floor. 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Yoga for Every Body (with Jeremy Blair) Professional instructor Jeremy Blair of Thodos Dance Chicago will teach you basic yoga technique learing poses that will both strengthen and relax your muscles and body. By learning, repeating  and building upon a succession of poses with the use of breath, you will gain body awareness , strength, and alignment over this eight week session. The class becomes more challenging as the session progresses and Jeremy keeps the progress alot fo fun. With the use of repetition and focus on breathing, the body will gain both ease and endurance. At the end of eight weeks, one will leave this class feeling like a new person. 8:00 - 9:00 pm

Wednesdays (beginning October 1)

Hard Core Pilates for Every Body (with Dori Santarsiere) Whether you are a begginer or have participated in many Pilates Mat classes, this class is for everyone! Certified Power Pilates instructor and professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer Dori Sanatrsiere is poised to challenge the skill level of each person to help them reach their goals. Dori will give direction and modifications to ensure that everyone works with what feels best for their body. Classical Pilates Mat exercises are designed to focus on the isolation of all the abdominal muscles, inner and outer thighs, lower back and hips, for a complete full body workout. Pilates creates long lean muscles  while gaining strength, flexibility, balance, alignment, and postural improvements. Who doesn't want that?! Joseph Pilates said it best himself "You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions, and have a completely new body in 30". 7:00 - 8:00 pm

 

Thursdays (beginning October 2)

Hip Hop/Jazz  (with Ryan Miller) Under the instruction of professional dancer, teacher and choreographer Ryan Miller, you'll get fit and ready for fun as he formats a super work out using the basic jazz style dance techniques combined with some of the latest and greatest hip hop moves. This combined work out will be aerobic, toning and full of fun combinations! No previous experience required, come as you are! With Ryan's  additional experience as a composer and musician, you'll leave feeling fit and on the beat! After this eight week session of terrific dance, you will feel great, be fit, and want to dance in your car all the way home!6:30 - 7:30 pm

 

Salsaerobics!  (with Ryan Miller) Let Thodos Dance Chicago's professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer Ryan Miller guide you through a exhilirating and rewarding experience of "Salsaerobics"! End the summer and begin the fall season with a fantastic new and exciting way to get in shape! You'll love this fusion of latin dance moves combined with a classic  cardio-aerobic workout as you learn and perfect the cool basic moves of Salsa, Merenque, Cha-Cha, Rhumba and More! This class is for everyone. You'll be having so much fun , you'll forget you are working out and want to hit Chicago's latin dance clubs after class!7:30 - 8:30 pm
